DISCOVERY DAY INDEPENDENT GYMS

19, 20 and 21st May

Objective of The Discovery Day

Bringing together a group of passionate gym owners to experience the BH Fitness brand and the finest Basque hospitality. The BH Fitness Discovery day will showcase the history of the brand, the extensive ranges via the BH Fitness showroom, and takes a first-hand look at a mix of facilities and gyms powered by BH Fitness in Vitoria. Lastly, we’ll absorb ourselves in Basque culture and cuisine all while enjoying the Spanish sun in the beautiful city of Vitoria-Gasteiz, an ideal opportunity to network with likeminded gym owners and share the Basque experience courtesy of the BH Fitness team.

What to Expect?

During the BH Fitness Experience, we’ll be visiting the BH Fitness HQ and Factory and the BH Bikes Factory where the brand began. We’ll make a visit to K2 Gym to experience the legacy of BH Fitness with equipment spanning 2 decades, a facility with a real independent gym feel. We’ll also visit Bakh Gym, the regions premier sports and fitness destination and home of the Baskonia and Deportivo Alavés basketball and soccer teams where participants can train across the latest BH Fitness equipment including cardio, strength, functional and free weights, before finishing up with a team dinner and experiencing local Basque cuisine.

Logistics

Participants simply need to arrange travel to Bilbao, Spain for Monday 19th May where a collective transfer to Vitoria-Gasteiz will be in place (time tbc) courtesy of BH Fitness. Those unable to join the transfer will receive instructions on how to reach Vitoria. 

BH Fitness will cover the cost of 2-nights hotel stay including breakfast, along with a team dinner and lunch for the group. The evening of Monday 19th May will be free of plans, although the Independent Gyms team will be heading for dinner and drinks for those who wish to join.

A collective transfer to Bilbao Airport will be in place (time tbc) courtesy of BH Fitness.

Those wishing to extend their stay are welcome to at their own expense, Vitoria-Gasteiz is a beautiful city that blends history, culture, and green spaces. Some of the best parts of the city include the Old Quarter, the Cathedral of Santa María, and the Artium Museum. Or alternatively, head back to Bilbao for a more vibrant city experience.
